*IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ*

In past years, the BARC membership application had an option to add additional family members living in the same household at a rate of $3/yr per additional family member.  With the implementation of our new online membership system we are changing how additional family memberships are handled in the following ways:

Household vs. individual vs. family, what makes me a member?  Please explain?

  1. For the purposes of dues collection, a single $28 payment per year is considered to be a “family membership.”  This means that the annual dues cover the paying member and up to three additional family members living at the same residence (household).
  2. For the purposes of membership, individuals are only considered members if they register for an account on our site and activate a membership.

This is how it works:

For the individual who is paying the family membership dues:
When completing the sign up form you may elect to provide email addresses for up to three additional family members who reside within the same household.  Please double check the email fields for accuracy.  Upon successful payment, you will receive an email (subject *IMPORTANT* BARC Family Membership) with further instructions to give to your additional family members so that they can activate their own club membership.

For the additional household member:
When completing the sign up form, please omit the “additional family member” fields as these are only to be filled by the paying member.  You will be using the coupon code that you received to pay for your family membership.  Simply select coupon as the payment method (though this should already be selected by default) and click where it says “Have a coupon?” to enter the code.  The coupon code will discount your dues from $28 to $0.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING RENEWALS:
If you and your family were a member in previous years and are renewing your family membership, your additional family members will be renewed without any additional action required.  Please allow one business day for the renewal to be reflected for your additional family members.  Thank you!

You may give your club dues in the form of a personal check to any club officer. Once we have received them, your transaction will be approved and your membership will become active. If you prefer to mail your check, please include your callsign in the memo or the email address used to create your membership account on our site.
